About
Noble Veterinary Services — mobile equine care, opening January 2027.
Dr. Christy Burrell, DVM
Dr. Christy Burrell, DVM, is the veterinarian behind Noble Veterinary Services, a mobile equine practice based in Gresham, Oregon. With Noble Veterinary Services, she is returning to equine practice — and to many of the horse owners she has cared for over the years.
Dr. Christy earned her B.S. in Animal Sciences, with a minor in Chemistry, from Oregon State University (2003–2007). At OSU she rode with the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association, served as Vice-President of the OSU Equestrian Club, and was a member of the Pre-Vet Club. She went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the OSU College of Veterinary Medicine (2013–2016), where she was a member of the American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP) and the Student AVMA.
Her work with horses began well before veterinary school: from 2009 to 2014 she was a Licensed Veterinary Technician (CVT) at Columbia Equine Hospital in Gresham. After earning her DVM, she completed a rotating clinical equine internship at Pioneer Equine Hospital in Oakdale, California (2016–2017), then returned to Columbia Equine Hospital as an Associate Equine Veterinarian, where she practiced from 2017 to January 2025.
Dr. Christy also brings small-animal experience. She has worked with Banfield Pet Hospital since 2021, first as a locum and, since February 2025, full time as a companion animal veterinarian, and has also worked on a contract basis with Good Neighbor Vet.
Opening in January 2027, Noble Veterinary Services brings that experience directly to your barn, with a focus on routine dental maintenance and vaccines.
Dr. Christy is licensed to practice veterinary medicine in both Oregon and Washington.
